The Head of ICT at MUBAS oversees the university’s information and communication technology systems, ensuring reliable network infrastructure and secure data management. They lead the development and implementation of digital solutions that support teaching, research, and administration. The role involves strategic planning to align ICT initiatives with institutional goals. Additionally, the Head of ICT provides technical leadership and guidance to ICT staff and system users across the university.

The Office of the Head of ICT at MUBAS is responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of all information and communication technology services across the university. It serves as the backbone of MUBAS’s digital transformation, ensuring that technology effectively supports academic, research, and administrative functions.


The office oversees the university’s network infrastructure, data centers, servers, and communication systems, maintaining high standards of reliability, security, and performance. It also manages enterprise systems such as student information management, e-learning platforms, email services, and institutional websites.


In addition to infrastructure management, the ICT Office drives innovation by introducing modern technologies that enhance teaching and learning experiences, streamline workflows, and improve service delivery. It works closely with academic and administrative units to design ICT policies, promote digital literacy, and ensure compliance with best practices in cybersecurity and data protection.


Furthermore, the office provides technical support and training to staff and students, enabling efficient use of ICT resources. Through continuous improvement and strategic partnerships, the Office of the ICT Manager plays a vital role in advancing the university’s mission of academic excellence, research innovation, and community engagement in the digital age.
