One of its core responsibilities is managing the admissions process for postgraduate students. The office also manages student records, thesis and dissertation submissions, and examination processes for postgraduate degrees.

Beyond academic administration, the Office of the Head of Postgraduate Studies is deeply involved in student support and professional development. It coordinates research methodology workshops, academic writing clinics, and seminars on intellectual property rights and publication ethics.
