The learners toured facilities around the campus including the UNIPOD and Mining Laboratory, where they experienced how modern technology and innovation can contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.

The visit also exposed the students to realities of university life as well general requirements for admissions into the university.

Chawezi Chisi, the Careers Coordinator for Kamuzu Academy highlighted the importance of the visit, stating that such exposure motivates learners and prepares them for their future career paths.

“We want them to see the facilities, appreciate campus life and get motivated by other students around so they can apply what they have learned when making their future career plans” said Chawezi.

The learners described the visit as exciting, praising the level of technology and infrastructure at MUBAS.

One of the learners, Kuchanya Chavura, said the experience gave him greater clarity and confidence about his future career.
