CALLING STUDENTS TO COMPLETE WRITING 2019/2020 ACADEMIC YEAR EXAMINATIONS

The Polytechnic would like to inform all first-year students, diploma students and students that are to sit for deferred examinations to report on campus on Monday, 7

th of September 2020 to complete writing their examinations.

The schedule for writing examinations is as follows:

  • 7th-11th September 2020      Students’ study week                      diploma, first year generic, and students taking deferred examinations
  • 10th-15th September 2020     Deferred examinations                    Continuing students
  • 14th-18th September 2020     End of year examinations                  First year generic students
  • 19th – 20th September 2020   Diploma end of semesterexaminations     Diploma students
  • 24th-25th September 2020      Deferred examinations                           First year and diploma students

The College will issue a press release for end of year results after Senate approves them for only those who would have completed paying their fees. The date of opening for the 2020/2021 academic year will be released in a separate press release.

All students who were residing in College halls of residences will continue to occupy their rooms. Students who were not residing on campus should express their interest in writing to the Dean of Students through this email: dean-students@poly.ac.mw by Thursday, 3rd September 2020 to occupy vacant rooms left by continuing students. However, students will be required to show proof of payment for accommodation before

they collect keys for their allocated rooms. As soon as a student finishes writing the examinations, he or she will be required to depart from the campus.

Note that the College, through its COVID 19 taskforce D 19 taskforce has put in place COVID 19 prevention measures of which every student shall be expected to follow.
