2016/2017 End of Year Examination Results

The Polytechnic would like to inform its continuing students that SENATE has approved end of year results for the 2016/17 academic year. Students can access their examination results through their SMIS account, campus notice boards and the Polytechnic website. Students who owe the College shall access their results only after clearing their debts.

SUPPLEMENTARY EXAMINATIONS

Supplementary Examinations shall be administered from 21st to 23rd February 2018.  The examination time table shall be released in due course.

STUDENTS REPEATING MODULES

Students repeating modules shall do so at their own cost as per rules and regulations. 

OPENING DATE

Opening dates for 2017/18 Academic Year are as follows;

i. FIRST YEAR STUDENTS

Students who have been offered accommodation are expected to arrive on campus on Sunday, 25th March 2018. Orientation shall commence on Monday 26th March 2018.

ii. CONTINUING STUDENTS

The opening date for continuing students is Tuesday, 3rd April 2018. Students who have been offered accommodation are expected to arrive on campus on Monday, 2nd April 2018.

FEES FOR 2017/ 2018 ACADEMIC YEAR

Tuition fees for the 2017/2018 academic year are as follows:

First and second Year Students - MK400, 000.00

Year 3, 4, and 5 Students -    MK350, 000.00

Mature Entry Students -  MK900, 000.00    

ACCOMMODATION/ SEMESTER

Those who have been given College accommodation the charges are as follows per semester:

Main campus- MK48, 000.00 

Chichiri -MK40, 000.00 

Accommodation shall only be accessed after paying the required charges in full. 

MODE OF FEES PAYMENT 

All continuing students should deposit their fees through National Bank accounts they were assigned. All new students should contact the College to be given the account details where they should deposit their fees. The Account details shall be available by 15th February 2018. 

REGISTRATION

Registration shall be conducted for two weeks from the opening date. Students are reminded that rules and regulations pertaining to registration process shall apply and therefore should be strictly adhered to
