• Candidates applying for a Lecturer level must have a Bachelor’s degree with at least a Credit and a Master’s Degree in Physical Planning/Urban and Regional Planning/City Planning/Urban Design or related disciplines.

• Candidates applying for Senior Lecturer level and above must have a Bachelor’s Degree with at least a credit and Master’s Degree or a PhD in Physical Planning/Urban and Regional Planning/City Planning/Urban Design or related disciplines, not less than 5 years experience plus adequate number of relevant publications in peer reviewed journals.

• Candidates should have more than three years’ experience in their fields of specialisation and be skilled in the use of design softwares such as AutoCAD and ArcGIS among others.

MAJOR DUTIES FOR ACADEMIC POSITIONS

Successful candidates will be responsible for teaching, research, consultancy and outreach services.
