The graduates completed programmes in Law, Marketing, Project and Contract Management, and Warehouse and Inventory Management, all designed to equip professionals with practical, industry-relevant skills.

The event brought together graduates, university officials, industry representatives, and invited guests to celebrate professional growth and skills development in response to the evolving demands of the labour market.

Speaking during the ceremony, MDC Manager Dr. Ella Kangaude commended the participants for their commitment and resilience throughout the training period, describing the programmes as practical and industry-oriented.

“We are proud to see professionals investing in lifelong learning and skills development that directly respond to industry demands,” she said.

Dr. Kangaude noted that the short courses form part of MUBAS’ broader commitment to developing professionals with the competencies required in both the public and private sectors.

“These programmes are designed to bridge skills gaps and empower participants with practical knowledge that can create impact in their workplaces and communities,” she added.

The Guest of Honour, Executive Director of the Malawi Law Society, Mr. Chrispin Ngunde, applauded MDC for promoting continuous professional development through accessible and practical training programmes.

He encouraged the graduates to apply the knowledge and skills acquired to enhance service delivery, leadership, and innovation in their workplaces and communities.
