THE JOB

Reporting to: Head of Academic Department

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Supporting the development and review of curriculum, teaching and learning materials.
2. Providing effective tuition to students at various levels and engaging in internal and external examining and assessment.
3. Initiating and undertaking research projects, consultancies and outreach programmes.
4. Developing, enforcing and monitoring the adoption and adaptation of various new technologies and concepts.
5. Developing and implementing resource mobilization strategies.
6. Mentoring academic staff below them.
7. Preparing and submitting reports.
8. Representing the Department in various fora.
9. Publishing and disseminating research findings.

Minimum Requirements

1. A relevant Bachelor’s degree with at least a Credit or Honours (second class upper); and
2. A relevant Master’s degree or PhD in the specified field of study.
